1. Thinking Like a Chrisian – 11 weeks
Understanding and Living a Biblical World View lays the groundwork for a clear understanding of the Bible as a total world and life view. Sessions include: *The Bible on Philosophy: what’s real? *Law: who makes the rules? *Politics: what about government? *Biology: what about life? And much more…..
Join us as we study 10 key disciplines and summarize them in a practical way. It encourages Christians to engage their culture by thinking biblically.

2. Single Adult Class – 11 weeks
What does God’s word say to those who are single? As a single Christian adult, how are you to think about your singleness? In the book, They Were Single Too: Eight Biblical Role Models, David M. Hoffeditz looks at eight characters from the Bible and examines what Christian single adults can learn from these Biblical characters. This 11 week LDC will give you a Biblical perspective on singleness as a gift; functioning in a couple’s world; purity in the midst of temptation; and other topics that these characters faced.

3. Financial Class – 6 weeks
“Freed-Up Financial Living”. Money is a powerful thing! Our choices in this area can have extreme consequences: damaged relationships, legal troubles, etc. It can also consume us and take the place of God in our lives. While many of us separate our financial lives from our spiritual lives, the fact is that our financial decisions are spiritual in nature. The Bible has an abundance of very practical advice for handling money – earning, spending, giving, saving and borrowing. Join us as we show you how to get your finances on track God’s way!

4. Balancing Life’s Demands – 11 weeks
Are you busy, tired, stressed out and stretched to the limit? Does life seem a little out of control? Are you running long on “to do’s” and short on time? In Balancing Life’s Demands you will learn how to put “first things first” and find peace in the midst of pressure and adversity. Featuring the video teaching of Chip Ingram, “Balancing Life’s Demands: Biblical Priorities for a Busy Life” offers practical insight to help you order your personal world.

5. Healthy By Choice – 6 weeks (Ladies only)
So, you made a New Year’s Resolution to eat better … to exercise … to lose weight. Good for you! Taking care of your mind and body puts you in a better place to serve and honor God and enjoy all His blessings. Healthy by Choice will give you practical tips for making healthy day-to-day choices for honoring God with your mind, your mouth and your muscles. We’ll examine Scripture, get a basic understanding of nutrition and gain some real experience with five different forms of exercise.

6. Survey of the Bible - 11 weeks
Old Testament Survey (6weeks); New Testament (5 weeks) (Attend one or both!)
Would you like to better understand the “big picture” of the Bible and how all the parts fit together? Let us help you understand the major themes of the Bible and the key truths that every believer needs to know. In fun and creative ways we will discover together the theme and importance of each book so your Bible study can take on new excitement! Biblical thinking starts here.

7. Sign Language Class - 11 weeks
“Sign Language 101 and 201″. This semester we offer basic ASL teaching as well as continued training for those who attended the 2011 sign language classes. Returning students will assist those just learning in addition to learning more themselves.
Introduction to ASL (American Sign Language). This course will give you an introduction to basic sign vocabulary. We will also be discussing deaf culture and the importance of deaf ministry & missions. The text book is essential for practicing at home. This is a great class for anyone simply interested in learning more about the deaf culture and also for those willing to help us plan for a larger ministry here at Calvary.
