MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)

MOPS is a ministry devoted to the message:  Better Moms Make a Better World! Moms attend MOPS groups to experience authentic friendship, receive mothering support, and to grow personally and spiritually.

MOPS  at Calvary has been a life-line for moms for ten years!

Since 1973, MOPS International has served millions of mothers of preschoolers in thousands of local MOPS groups across the U.S. and in 33 countries internationally. The women are of many ages and backgrounds, but share the same desire — to be the best mothers they can be.

Here’s what the morning looks like:

• Brunch (Yes, hot food that hasn’t been touched by little fingers)
• Teaching (on subjects you care about)
• Discussion with other moms (who know just what you’re going through!)
• Craft/creative activity
• On-site childcare*
• Encouragement that helps you be a great mom to the glory of Jesus Christ

*Our children have a great time while the moms are meeting too! MOPPETS childcare (provided for ages 3 months – 5-year-olds) is available 8:50 – 11:00 during MOPS meeting days. Childcare is only available until we have reached capacity, so sign your kids up early! Open House is August 23 6-8 pm
