New Series beginning April 28 True Love: A Study of First John
As you read the Gospels, you come away with the idea that no one was closer to Jesus than John. In fact, he refers to himself in the Gospel he wrote as “that disciple whom Jesus loved.” Of all the attributes he must have observed in walking and talking with the Son of God, the one that stood out the most to him was the fact that Jesus loved him- personally. So from the divinely inspired pen of one who knew Jesus better than anyone else, we learn about true love – heaven-sent love.
We all need this kind of love, and we all know plenty of people who need it as well. So invite a friend to be your guest, and join us for five Sundays as we take a look at what God has to say about true love.
