Kid City is our Children’s ministry at Calvary. Kid City provides ministry for children from birth through fifth grade. Our goal is to help the children discover Jesus in a personal way so they will grow up with His teachings. It is our desire that the training they receive here will be taken with them throughout their lives. We want kids to Learn God’s Word, Love God’s Word and Live God’s Word.
Children participate in a loving, nurturing, and age appropriate environment while attending. Children learn biblical truth and biblical principles through such creative methods as drama, music, teaching and discussions. Children also learn by observation and modeling; therefore, each classroom is staffed by qualified volunteers who are committed to the spiritual development of the child.

Nursery
Because we believe that all children are created by God and in the image of God, we at Calvary are committed to providing a safe environment where our smallest children are nurtured and loved. Located on the lower level of our building, our baby and toddler rooms are secure. We have nursery available for both the 9:00 and 10:30 services. Staff is screened, trained and monitored to ensure quality care.

Preschool
Your child is precious and loved by God. That’s why we want him or her to experience God’s love at Calvary and love coming on Sundays! Our teachers encourage a Biblical foundation by teaching the kids Bible stories. They also recognize the importance of making learning about God interesting so we also have hands-on activities like crafts, snacks, and games. We have preschool classes available for both the 9:00 and 10:30 services.
Elementary
On Sunday mornings we have large group gatherings for our elementary aged kids during both services. Kids enjoy high energy worship, fun games, skits, and interactive Bible teaching. Each week kids are taught a Bible story and a Power Verse. We would love to have your K-5th grader join us during the 9:00 am or 10:30 am services in Kid City.
Awana
Awana is our midweek kid's program. It is a program that makes memorizing the Word of God fun for children. Awards are earned by completing sections in a handbook. The fact is, getting Scripture into the hearts and minds of our children impacts them both now and for the rest of their lives. Awana is from 6:45pm-8:00pm on Wednesdays and is for ages 3-5th grade. Awana meets from August to May. There is also nursery (0-2) available for those attending a midweek class/group.

Summer Spectacular
Summer Spectacular is our Summer Children's Program for K-5th Grade. Kids watch dramas, worship and sing songs, learn Bible stories, memorize verses, play fun games and eat yummy snacks. We would love to have your child join us in 2024. Our 2024 dates are July 15-July 18 from 6:30pm-9:00pm each night.
